History

In 1988, Todd Abraham May and his twin brother George David May started a small outdoor furniture company in Tallahassee, Florida.  They began by designing and building a unique line of PVC furniture.  By bucking the trend of low cost, “tee and elbow” PVC they came up with a curved, rattan-like product that matched the durability of traditional PVC with the look and design of high end wicker.  It was an immediate hit and the Abraham George name soon became known as the very best furniture of its kind in the industry. 

As the business grew they turned their attention to retail and sought out manufacturers that provided the same high level of quality and service that made their furniture such a success.  Their passion for quality and service led them to hand pick what they believe are the very best manufacturers of outdoor furniture in the world and bring them to you in a beautiful retail setting in their Tallahassee showroom.    

And Abraham George is still growing.  They have expanded their services to include an in-house design staff that can help with any of your design needs.  Their product lineup has also expanded to include custom outdoor kitchens and islands along with many new accessories and even unique indoor pieces.
